Gunenen - Prologue

Silence.

This unpleasant silence. It hurts to hear nothing for too long. It makes my ears buzz, but I can't do anything about it, for I am bound to these walls of this underground, human-made hell prison.

Tap, tap, tap.

I hear tapping of shoes coming toward me. I look up to see two of the same men who check on me. "Comfortable, you little demon?" the bigger man mocks.

I stay silent, just like these walls. "Well?" he goes around me and steps on my tail, but I don't flinch. "Looks like you could be dead. Good thing too. No one wants a monster like you to even be alive." He walks around again and heads out of my cell.

He turns to me one more time, and sees a grin on my face. "What are you smiling about, demon?"

I finally answer back with a chilling voice, "Just enjoying the thought of making you burn from the inside, hearing your screams and wishes for death once I get out of here..."

Tap, tap, tap.

He's gone now and i'm left to the silence once again.
